OAR + ARROW

The dream for Oar + Arrow began shortly after losing Ethan's dad to brain cancer. Faced with the uncertain and fragile nature of life, we decided to do something. So Oar + Arrow was born, at first a kids' clothing line with original watercolor designs. Since then, we have grown and changed in many ways, but we have always stayed true to our dream of creating meaningful art that will inspire and uplift others.

Our name is a tribute to the most creative thing on this planet: children. Our children's initials are O,A,R, and "arrow" comes from the Psalms of the Bible: "Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are the children of one's youth." Not only do our children inspire us with their own creativity, they stand as proof that all of us are meant to be creators in our own way.

 

Children are a blessing to us, and we feel honored to get to be a blessing to our children. We strive to live intentionally, taking the "arrows" we've been given to face the blessings and battles each day brings, to share in life and love with all we get to meet.
